Christmas "Morning"

Christmas "Morning" actually came Dec. 19 for us. Ben's mom and dad and brother were in town, so we decided to have the boys open our gifts to them that night, too. It was a great night.

The boys got to give both Ben and myself a gift. Tristan gave me jewelry and Aidan gave me a basket full of bath stuff. Boy, do they know me!

Aidan got Ben a great game called Whoonu and Tristan got Ben an airsoft BB gun. Again, they know their dad!!

We only give 3 gifts under the tree to each person. We figure that since Jesus only got 3, that's all we should give, too. We've also decided that instead of random gifts, we give

1. Something the person wants

2. Something the person needs

3. Something we want them to have

It's a fun tradition. We DO add things to the stocking, though. Just small gifts that I find around for cheap. This year Aidan asked for a big pencil and a grey crayon for Christmas. I found a pencil for him at the dollar store.
