Alamo Family Traditions

Every year at Christmas time the Alamo family has spent Christmas Eve together. They exchange gifts and talk and laugh, but most importantly they make graham cracker houses. This has become an art form to some of them. They get very serious about their houses. This year the matriarch and patriarch of the family are in Spain, so the kids all got together in their honor and continued with the traditions. Everyone brought crackers or candy or frosting and we spent several hours building the extravagant houses. I took lots of pictures. The kids are getting SO big. The family just keeps growing. Next year there will be a new little one in on the fun. Although, I think Toni feels like it's never going to happen at this point :)

These are all of the houses created that night. Everyone was so creative and had a great time.

I think everyone can agree that this was the most original. Christina opted out of the house building and instead built Santa and his sleigh. Everyone picked on her for not making a house, but when she was finished there were lots of oooohhs and aaaaawwws. She is amazing!

These are all of the grand kids. Next year Christian will be there!

The kids got to open their gifts from Titi Toni and Valentin. Thank you guys!
