We've been needing to get a shed built in our back yard to hold the lawn mower and such. Ben's been gathering pieces of wood that the builder's throw away at their job sites. This last weekend he and Tristan spent several hours out in the hot sun measuring, cutting, drilling and nailing. They got 2 of the walls up. Tristan did a great job. He's a good listener and he works hard.
An THEN there's our Aidan. He was excited to build the shed at first, but that lasted about 5 minutes. After that he was bored. I handed him a tape measure, and he kept himself entertained for an hour with that thing. He measured EVERYTHING. Nothing escaped him. He now knows the length of every piece of wood, every step, even my feet. What a funny kid.
