Camping Time!

It's become a tradition that for Mother's Day weekend we go camping. Last year Ben and I went alone, but this year the kids came for one night. We had a wonderful time. Anika spent most of her time digging in the dirt with a stick. Tristan was a huge help to Ben getting the outside set up and Aidan helped me in the tent. Mostly it was because I can keep his energy under control better than Ben can.

The campsite is near the water, so we spent a few hours at the beach. The kids dug in the sand and Aidan searched for any piece of a shell he could find. He is adding them to my "collection" of shells he's put together for me.
