I have been VERY bad at adding to our blog. These are the highlights from the last few months of our lives.
Can you BELIEVE he's 10 already? When I met him he was 2!
He had a water party. They spent a lot of time playing outside. Praise the Lord the weather cooperated.
This is Ben and his nephew. They came up to visit and bring us much needed and frequently used baby things. I don't know what we would have done without there kindness.
Aidan is 7. This is his party. He had his 2 best friends from school over. They enjoyed all the Legos he was given.

A Lego cake, of course. It's his new favorite thing. Although, I don't think anything beats horses yet.
We had some time with just Aidan back in October. We went to the pumpkin patch and tried to hit targets with a slingshot. Aidan hit his, but Ben missed every time. It was a great victory for the 7 year old! Then we went back home and carved pumpkins. He wanted Ben to do the dirty work (Aidan hates putting his hand inside) but Ben wouldn't let him get away with that!

Can you guess who this is? (Hint: "Luke, I am your father")
Ben and I were at home one night when we got a call from Jon saying that the soccer club was short one coach and did Ben want to do it? The first thing Ben said to me was that he wasn't good with kids and wouldn't do a good job. ANYONE who knows my husband knows that a load of bologna. He's GREAT with kids. Well, the chance to spend 2 nights a week and several Saturdays in a row with Aidan is what finally made up his mind. They had a GREAT time. There were only 5 kids on the team. They play 3 on the field at one time. Twice they had 2 kids missing at once and we played teams with 6 kids and all of them there. Our boys played ironman soccer. They did a great job. Boy were they tired afterwards! Ben can hardly wait until the season starts up again in the fall!
